A phrase that annoys me...

One more thing...

Do you ever have those people in your life that say things that annoy you? They don't realize that it bothers you, but you don't really want to say anything about it either? Well, mine is "If that's what you want." I.E. Yes, getting a house sounds great, "if that's what you want." Going on a trip sounds fun, "If that's what you want." That opportunity sounds wonderful, "If that's what you want." Maybe it's not meant to sound bad, but sometimes I kind of feel like that phrase totally cancels out whatever was said before it. What do you think? Am i crazy for being annoyed?

So I have been completely AWFUL about posting! But with working, planning a wedding, and moving into a new house, I just have been so busy! So I'm REALLY going to do my best this time, and I'm going to try to catch you up on everything!

Right now, Will and I are sitting in our NEW living room and we LOVE IT! It is so nice to finally be together and to have so much space! We have a wonderful house in a great neighborhood in Fayetteville, and we love it! The best thing is the backyard. We have a great little deck and the fence in the back is cut down shorter so you can see the huge, open field behind it. It is so relaxing to go out there in the morning and at night to eat dinner!

I will update you on all of the wedding planning and how it actually turned out, and we will have pictures of the house soon! Right now we are getting all of the furniture situated and spending all of our much-loved gift cards in furnishing our home! I cannot wait, because you know I am a little hostess, and as SOON as everything gets peachy keen with the house, we are throwing a SHE-NA-NA of a party! You'll want to be on the list :)

For now, I'm sorry to say, I have to go. We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to go to Jennifer and Ryan's wedding in DALLAS!!! I cannot TELL you how much I love that city! So I have to go pack and make sure my HUSBAND takes the proper attire :) I feel like I just take care of a grown-up, big kid sometimes! But you gotta love 'em!

Goodnight, everyone!

I fell off the face of the earth

Wow! Where did this come from! I have not posted in SO long! I honestly have just been so busy and kind of forgot about it! I promise I will try to be a better blogger once this wedding is finished being planned!

Let's see... any important updates? Ha! probably not! My life is not very interesting! Just working and trying to get lookin' good for the big day :) I had a client ask if i lost weight today and that TOTALLY made my day!

As far as the wedding goes, we have pretty much everything planned! We still have the invitations to do and we are currently in negotiations with the reception band, but everything else is pretty squared away! I know some little details I want to have in the wedding so I guess its time for me to start getting crafty! woo hoo!

Will is doing well, just studying hard... or hardly studying? Just kidding. He really is working hard. And im very proud of him for that! We are going to Searcy this weekend to pick up our wedding bands. That will be crazy! It has gone by so fast and it is only a little over 3 months away now!

Oh, and if you can't tell from the picture above, it has been snowing like crazy up here in northwest arkansas! one weekend i think we got around 10 inches. But today was absolutely gorgeous! I just love spring and I cant wait for it to finally get here!

Well, peace out world. Im ready for the weekend! anyone else?

READING... READING... READING

Call us reading rainbow. At least i'm reading for fun. I'm finally on the last book of the Twilight series... Breaking Dawn. OH. MY. GOSH. I really wish i could talk to someone about what just happened! if you've read it, talk to me! Lauren is on the 3rd book so I can't talk to her about it yet.

Will, however, is reading "A Civil Action," right now for law school and seems to be somewhat enjoying it? besides the fact that he was told to read a 500 page book in like 4 days? and i'm going to go out on a limb and say it's not as easy of a read as twilight?

So I've been thinking, and I've been trying to come up of a list of some big things i want to do... what do I have so far, you ask?
I want to, in no particular order:

1)Run a half-marathon (already started training this week!)
2)Go Skydiving(hopefully sometime this fall!)
3)Write a book(not sure about this one, but I really want to do it someday)

hmmm.. and im trying to think up some others... we shall see. Maybe the next post?

***FLOR-iDA***

So we went to Destin last week and it was WONDERFUL! the weather was pretty the whole time. I'm trying to think if anything interesting happened. Not really. On one of my morning runs, i saw a blowfish and a crab... and then when Will and I were out swimming we saw a sea turtle... but that was really it. It was just so nice to sit outside and enjoy the beach for a few days and take my mind off of work! I hadn't really had a break at all since i started working before graduation, so it was very, very nice. Here are a few pictures from the trip!

I actually drew that :)
My favorite person in my favorite place!
No words necessary... ok, well he got bored after sitting on the beach. I told him he should have brought his golf clubs, and i'm sure he wished he had. So we went snorkeling. Didn't see anything at all. Not very interesting.

Getting ready to eat some seafood at the back porch!

One of my favorites... Me trying to be artistic :)

:)

And my fave :)

So we had a great time, minus the 15 hours car trip. We could have gone without that. But it was so nice to go for a few days! Back to the real world. Although I AM excited about football season coming up very, very soon!

Am I... your fire???

Soooo last weekend i went BACK to Searcy... AGAIN.... for will's golf tournament. Just joking about the sarcasm, it really was fun, and i really do love every single person i have met there! so so so nice! Anyway, there were parties both friday and saturday nights, and they were so fun! I spent the day just riding around on the golf cart taking pictures with my camera. My brother was sweet enough to give me a really nice Nikon camera for graduation and this was the first time I have really broken it out and played around with it... and I had so much fun! im sure will and his dad Jay thought i was being annoying and kind of like the paparazzi or something, but oh well!So randomly during the day there was this fox running across the golf course with a squirrel in its mouth? i don't know, it seemed worthy of a few pictures. Will played with his dad, and his best friend Chris played with Keith- will's stepdad. it was fun! saturday went really wellll... but sunday?? not so much. I pretty much spent THAT whole day at the pool.

The parties at night were the best though. Saturday night there was a calcutta and then karaoke... after a few hours I was ready to sing! Only problem wasssss i wanted will to sing with me. He was really hesitant at first, but then he just told me to pick something out. So immediately i take that to mean ANYTHING. Next thing he knows, he's up there singing "I want it that way" by the backstreet boys... and we definitely had a crowd lined up as soon as we started singing :)
All in all it was a fun weekend. And he's finally coming back to fayetteville for law school! he's moving back into his apartment this weekend, and you know i am excited about that... and what would be a more perfect place to him than..... the links? where he can pretty much do this everyday! until he has to actually study for once :) til next time! Im going to try to be better about posting! XOXO-H

Happy 4th of July!

First Post! So I guess I'll talk a little bit about the 4th of July. I went down to Searcy to hang out with Will and his family. I had friday off of work, so I left Fayetteville Thursday night and met up with Will, Kyle, and Audra. Will and Kyle grilled burgers and hotdogs, and Audra and I stayed in the kitchen- I made a pseudo potato casserole thing that just kept getting random stuff added to it! It ended up being pretty good... Audra and I just sat and stared at their little baby, Krews, who is absolutely PRECiOUS!!!! Love him! Anyway, so that was fun. Friday Will had to work, so his mom Jane Ann and I went to get pedicures! It was wonderful. I love her!!!! After that I went to the pool and layed out all day and then we left friday night as soon as Will got off work to go to Heber Springs!

We met up with some friends and stayed at the coolest house in the world. It was on the lake and had balconies and was just absolutely beautiful! we were so excited! We went and watched fireworks friday night at Fairfield Bay. After that we came back to the house, only to leave to go to a random house party. We knew a bunch of people there, but not the actual girl that owned the house... it was in a party house, all to itself, and when you walked in you saw zebra print rugs, shag carpet, and disco balls. Needless to say i was thinking i must be dreaming and wondered where in the world i was.. i felt like i walked in a modern-life austin powers movie. People were going crazzzyy.... and to make it even better we drove to the house in probably a 1988 lincoln towncar with a red velvet interior. I love it. I love random stuff like that, it makes me laugh :)

Saturday we stayed out on the lake all day and had too much fun! There were probably about 5 or 6 of us that tied our boats together and just chilled. It was so relaxing! there were more fun fireworks saturday night. It rained but i think that added to it!

So in the midst of all this, we met up with Will's dad Jay and rode back on his sailboat. Well, halfway through the ride back, Will screams... We lost the seadoo! Not so bad... BUT it was pitch black outside, and we were worried that someone was going to hit it- not for the seadoo's sake, but for the person that might hit it! Luckily Will found it and drove it back... in the dark! I was going to have a freak out if he didn't wear a life jacket.
So we ended up staying on the sailboat saturday night... we didn't sleep all that well! but it was an experience, for sure! We went to the smokehouse for breakfast... which was delicious!! We went back to searcy and I hung out there for awhile before i made the long trek back to fayetteville!

So that was our weekend! It was too much fun. I'm still sad i missed out on having the 4th at cape cod with the new york girls, but it was still super fun!
